Here's the view from the inside of Sea Greens Live out to the ocean. Bright and early this morning two of my girls paused from their walk from Asbury Park to Ocean Grove and wound up helping me put together my new Ikea bar stools. Uh, they really stopped because they were not feeling like walking to Ocean Grove. I was very happy to see them. Sea Greens opens early to accommodate the early risers on the boardwalk. But the breakfast club has yet to catch on. And I am always looking for company. Later in the day, I looked at the picture of the two of them in a state of extreme focus assembling the chairs and realized that although I am standing outside, there I am in the reflection of the photo on the left. They left before they finished. We needed another TOOL that was not available at 8:30 am. But no worries. They got it started and Ellie (my new best friend) came to the rescue; she finished them all later that afternoon.
Important stuff. Check me out at the New Jersey Shore Store in Manhattan on Thursday at 813 Broadway from 11 - 3. I will have the very best vegan, wheat free, gluten free, dairy free baked goods to share with you. And that's the third photo above. The apple spelt cake is a first place winner. Everyone who tastes it simply sighs and says "yum." Here's the list of items you can sample Thursday. Everything has been baked using organic spelt, organic sucanat, aluminum free baking powder, organic fruits and vegetables, and organic brown rice syrup unless marked otherwise. You can buy them on the boardwalk at Sea Greens Live or order them directly here online. I will post the price sheet tomorrow when I am awake.
